Play Week @ The Y
The Y are ensuring all tamariki and rangatahi in Aotearoa are physically active by supporting Play week this year! Play allows children to experience fun, joy and laughter in a way that is important to them. It is also where they develop and practice life skills. All week, we’ll be hosting events and activities across the lower North Island, parking our Tākaro Play Trailers up and encouraging tamariki to do what they do best! We invite you to find an event near you, bring the whānau and join in the fun!
Introducing: Tākaro Play Trailers

To this end, the Y have created Tākaro play trailers – available for the local communities to hire. All throughout Play Week our Tākaro Play Tailers will be out in force across the Wellington and Manawatū regions!
